died Sunday. He and some other friends went to Chicago for a concert. He got some adderall from a dude and OD’d. They were packed with fentanyl.
He just got engaged, bought an house and all that life changing stuff. He had no other drugs in his system. I never knew him to do anything else.
Crazy sad.

unless I knew them rilly well. Client's daughter died alone in her home on her 39th birthday thinking she was taking meth. Autopsies are taking many weeks to complete around here due to the number of fentanyl deaths.

I can't come up with any reason a dealer would put fentanyl in a (something that looked like) Adderall tablet.

or with Molly they will have a signature. Like Homer Simpson pills are HUGE right now. But the problem is, they are typically laced with Fentanyl and people will actually take them to either edge to OD or OD and Narcan each other. It’s insanity

I honestly am not sure, seems counterintuitive for dealers to be doing this with the one exception that fentanyl can be instantly addictive, so maybe trying to hook people into opioids like heroin etc

Spoke with a college kid in a fraternity recently. He is the safety guy. He told me about how he gets fentanyl testing strips and holds trainings for the rest of the fraternity to test every drug. What a wild thing for a 20 year old to do, and so different from what I experienced at Clemson not all that long ago.

Sorry dude. There needs to be more PSA going on pushing the "One pill can kill" line, as that is truth not some empty scare tactic.
I personally know 2 young men that were good kids that went out in a very similar fashion. It's devastating for the families left behind.

Good friend's son, my daughter's former boyfriend (and still good friend) took what he thought was a Xanax last year, bought from a friend. It was laced with fentanyl, and he never woke up. 26 years old, great kid, had a bright future and was just getting his life started. Absolutely devastating for all concerned.

As often as people try to explain it, I just don't grasp why Fentanyl is used to cut anything, given how lethal it is. Beyond killing your customers, isn't it more expensive than other things that could be used for the same purpose. I just don't get it.

How do we combat the "reduce jail time / jail people" with "stop ####### selling god #### fetanyl"?

I've said it a few times here, casa de dawghater takes nothing but shrooms anymore. I'm still burning the same bud I got like 2 or 3 years ago before I left atlanta, so nothing to worry about there.

I think we've been desensitized to the danger of pills and people take them without much of second thought. In that regard, they're much more dangerous than heroin or any other drug. There's a calculated risk of doing coke or heroin, but like in this case who would think adderall is anything but adderall?
