Why not ? Whats not more 'merican then beer and baseball ?. Now, none of this High School stuff of how corrupting youth by drinking beer ... anybody >= 18 is an Adult per the law ... yes, you can sign a contract, get arrested as an adult, fight and die in a War ... but you better not have a beer !? Makes no sense at all ... thus the song ...

Great opening weekend for he and the Tigers... perhaps 'great' is a wee bit over the top. However, I am excited to see the difference with Monty Lee driving the ship. I love Jack Leggett and will always respect his contribution to the Tiger's baseball program. But, Jack was burning out and he probably knew it. This new blood is already evident in the program and I'll bet Jack is glad to see it, too.
I'll be watching and pulling with all my heart for the Tigers to be special this year. But, I'll not be disappointed when they stumble, fall, get up, rub some dirt on it, and get back to work. Baseball is way different than other sports. Nobody can win them all in baseball in one season at the college level. Go Tigers, why don't we Brew up something great for 2016!

I spoke with Jack at Saturday's game last week. He came up to me to ask about my son who plays and said a few kind words. He definitely misses coaching the team. Lee and See are impacting this program and shifting the culture in many ways. Lecroy did an awesome job landing Beer (prob a 2 year guy, he's 19)and Byrd will help next year on the infield and with his bat. Go Tigers.
