There are a lot of people in that pic though. Although not that big of a deal, there really is no excuse if one has the means to have one and it's not an inconvenience in any way. It would be nothing for him to have a black suit for such occasions.

I have been to a dozen funerals in my life. Everyone that owns black wears black. Now, the POTUS should wear black. Is it that big of a deal? No. The dude doesn't have a shred of class in his body. I’m not going to argue about what Trump wore and what I choose to wear. Not all people wear black. You’ve attended a dozen. I’ve attended half that many this year already with the latest being yesterday. Very few people word black. Hardly any. Some cultures and religious beliefs expect black. Mine does not. In some circles it depends on one’s view of what death actually is. That’s how it is for us. Nothing wrong with wearing black. Also nothing wrong with believing death is not final and choice in colors can reflect that. Hope that’s fair to you.

Published dress code was a dark suit and black tie. Dark blue or dark grey is OK, but Don and one other guy had brighter blues on. Nobody else in the front row, though. He wanted to stand out, obviously. Now it would have been better if he hadn't dozed off a couple of times.
