All 3 buildings suffered severe fires, in the early years of Clemson.

Sikes and Tillman were heavily damaged but rebuilt. A shame that Mechanical Hall was lost.

Where was Mechanical Hall situated? I've never seen a photo of it before.

Right? A wooden ladder that tall would be flexing, and bouncing, all the way up.

interesting architecture. Have not seen that style leveraged on campus from what I recall. Does anyone know where it was located on campus? Thanks in advance.

Riggs is roughly where the Mechanical building was located.

I think Riggs is further from Hardin that the Mechanical building was. Have seen an old aerial photo with the Mechanical building in it, and there's not enough room for Olin to exist like it does between Riggs and Hardin unless Riggs is a bit further back than the Mechanical building.
