I've ALWAYS enjoyed hearing Barrett Carter. He's one of my favorite players on this team. He has been and will always be an excellent representative of Clemson University!

The one thing I will give the defense. They did not give up. They kept playing. It could have gotten really ugly early. If not for 4-5 plays, and they were huge, the game would have been different. But, crap in one hand, wish in the other....

WES GOODWIN: Definitely. In January, we'll do our end of the year self-scout review and look at all the issues and problems and how teams attacked us throughout the year, and you can just see kind of the trends and stuff, and so forth and so on.
I believe he said something very similar to this last year . Wonder about his self scout review.
We have the same problems~ strength and conditioning -technique - tackling.
It is not getting better. They need to be challenged , pushed to be better- work harder and if I remember correctly, one of our players that hit the portal said something close to that.
Our D is gradually getting worse. They had atleast two weeks to prepare and nothing to show for it .
I hope they will make the necessary adjustments to fix it.

I really believe Barrett Carters best football is ahead of him, he's going to test well and somebody will grab him on that and realize how much untapped talent he has.
Mickens played like a boss this year he might be the only safety that has made drastic leaps under Conn.
You can see these 3 defenders did not want to leave it like that, sucks to know they probably left it all on the line but did not get the coaching they deserved. This team is still loaded with talent it's coaching that needs to either develop or be replaced.

Great kids at Clemson!! So proud of them. The mistakes we made were systemic (all year long issues) strip vs tackle instead of tackle and strip, gap integrity, pursuit errors, PIs, missed coverages (more by LBs)x…sounds mostly like coaching and D tactics and schemes…I hope/expect changes to be made somehow/where. We have such a great tradition of great D!! Glad to see improvement on OL…need more in run schemes/tactics…glad to finally see more run support past the LOS by OL…need more receiver blocking downfield for run support. Some good some horrible…good luck next year!!
