go into the portal? Any D1 player that has some playing time can walk into basically any D2 school and pretty much start. For every DB that walks out of Clemson and walks onto the starting lineup of a championship team (Georgia) there are dozens that are still sitting on the bench. Pretty much where they were at the school they left.
