Crazy thing was bets were placed at Great American casino in Cinci right by the ballpark.
How did they not show the guy placing the bets was Pete Rose.

This story makes little sense to me. They are playing at LSU in Louisiana, someone made two suspicious looking bets in Ohio, and the Alabama coach is now fired? Would love to know what they found out to justify canning him.

From what I just heard on the radio, it appears that the Bama coach told the planned starting pitcher an hour before the game that he wouldn't be starting. He started a Sophomore pitcher. Something didn't jive with the timeline of the bet being placed and the pitching change. The radio host alluded to the fact that there was an insider who leaked that info before it was made public.
