Chad Morris To Tennessee?

Now that Derek Dooley has been fired at Tennessee is there a possibility that Chad will be a candidate for that job? They have a great tradition and are willing to spend big bucks on their footbball program!

My father-in-law is a UT alum and very well connected within their booster organization and athletic department.

job. I'd imagine they'd go Head Coach with years of successful experience in D-1 football.. I think Chad could definitely do it but Tennessee went the route of the roll of the dice on Dooley and i'm sure the UT faithful have had their fill of projects. Personally i'd rather Jimbo stay at FSU because i think he gets less out of his talent.

If it were Gruden, we'd already know. So It's ain't Gruden.
I'm being serious when I say I've seen and heard Dabo's name come up in connection with this job. No way he leaves, but some people want him. And why wouldn't they?

time. Chad is great but he has no D-1 head coaching experience and UT can't screw around with an unknown after the Dooley debacle.

Morris possibilities are...

are more along the lines of a Kentucky or an SMU/NC State if they fire their coaches. I think I would most concerned about SMU simply because it is close to home and they can pay 2 million a year.

tried so much even they stopped it. I lost count of the number of times they told us Bowden was going to some school or the other. After hearing it all season I finally asked them when. That shut them up. They then tried it again the next season and I reminded them how wrong they were before.
They don't have enough fear or respect for Dabo to suggest he's going anywhere. Good.

With the additional 2 years probation, they should have ridden Dooley a little longer. Texas is the one I worry about.
