She didn’t know what habeas corpus meant before the hearing which is already inexcusable for someone in her position. But walking into a congressional hearing without even bothering to learn it, knowing it would come up? That’s just straight-up incompetence.

High school in early 90’s. Learned it in civics/government circa 1992. Just asked my kids that are here (one graduating this Saturday and in graduating next year), both could (independently) express a definition that was world’s better than she did.
