This time against a lousy Washington State team. He's done well to get them to four wins, but he'll need much more to make the Buffs really competitive.

Because his team stinks. They beat nobody then got crazy praise. If they fell in rankings as hard as Dabo after first loss, none of this is a question!

He has exceeded expectations for the season, which is always great to see a coach do, especially considering how much they are paid and the resources they are provided.

If 4 wins exceed expectations, what was the expectation? Do you really think the University, Boosters and NIL providers feel like expectations were exceeded?

Iv seen this many times and I don’t Agree… what were the expectations? No one knew what to expect bc he brought in a completely diff roster, you can’t go by last year bc it was new staff and completely new roster with a lot more talent on paper… I think 5-6 wins was the expectation especially after the hype after beating a bad tcu team. I’m happy to see it not work but do wish him success down the road as far as recruiting and building a program if he stays long enough to do it.

I could see that if norvell darted … but I have to think norvell may be happy at fsu and it may depend on what happens with Clemson and fsu in the near future. But if I were fsu I’d wanna give him a year or two to see what happens… he’s done some dumb stuff and knee decisions I just don’t know if he has the patience but we will see. He will def get talent but at some point I think a lot of younger high school talent will shy away from that model bc they know as a soph if they haven’t fully developed they will replace him with a portal player . I don’t think it’s sustainable to flip rosters like that.
