For those of you (I assume most of you) who don't even know what this is, it's a series on Amazon Prime.

The plot involves ballet companies in NYC and Paris exchanging star dancers (etoiles) for a season.

The writers are the same as from Miss Maisel and the guy who played Lenny Bruce in Maisel is the male lead in Etoile. Some solid writing and acting. And a story that gets better as the show unfolds.

I watched because my wife wanted to and she loves NYC arts stuff. I liked it enough that I will give season 2 a look if there is one, but like Maisel and other similar shows, I fear it may go on for too long.

Anyhoo, if you can tolerate watching lots of ballet and seeing men kiss, it is a good show.
