Any game against any major conference team on the road is very loseable. We've won so many close ones this year.
Coming off a road game we should have lost with a 2 day gap, everyone should have known it was a roll of the dice.
We'll be fine.

The loss at WF was very different. We scored 77 points, they scored more. A basket or two either way could have been huge. That stung but didn't warrant "fire Brownlee" calls.
Last night we played long minutes without scoring in the first half and long minutes in the 2nd half without scoring. 17 straight misses? 17 turnovers over the game.
Last night was light SCAR and Loyola-Chicago all over again.
CBB's comments make him seem like he has no business on the floor:
"We just didn't play very well and didn't coach well. You know, I didn't see it coming,"
"We got off to a good start. It wasn't that we weren't ready to play...They increased the pressure a little bit and we kinda panicked. We really did. That was maybe me too...
"Four or five of them [turnovers] were just head-scratchers. It's almost like, 'What are we doing? I don't understand.'
Maybe it's coach-speak to avoid throwing his players under the bus, which I can appreciate, but the words also seem to reflect a certain truth, too.

You are correct and it takes is looking at the Polls and realizing there may be only 1 really good team this year and that is Purdue. It is hard to win and I am still not sure how we won the games against Virginia Tech and Florida State. Our good fortune ran out tonight.
