You refused to go up a size in your shirt because going from a XXL to a XXXL meant having to go to premium priced big and tall store. However you could keep your pants size the same by going to a loose fit instead of a standard cut. That seems to be what's going on here by the bagginess around the legs and the horizontal stretching of the brown denim under the waist.
Also, I wonder if he took the dip out while he ate that popcorn.

I saw him, too, but I only saw the back of his shirt as he was leaving to go get more snacks. My kids and I were on the top row just to the right of the stairs in the picture.
I freely admit that I've become the "get off my lawn", "that music is too loud" kinda guy, and a supposedly grown man wearing a "don't be a d**k" shirt in public fits in the same category for me. Don't be a d**k? Agreed. Please take your own advice and wear something different next time, coot.
