I like the idea of playing Cordrea at safety some this year he's big. I hope Alexander can recover and be ready to go this year.

Wraps up and goes to the ground. If he has learned his reads, I'm not surprised.

Suprised to hear that Green might avoid a RS

this must be due to depth concerns at the WR position with Priester mot going to qualify this semester.

Yeah, part of the decision to not RS is about next year....

...but, it isn't like we've got a bunch of seniors at WR. One or two of the Juniors might run to the NFL, but we still have a decent squad in that case. Losing one of Bryant, Watkins, Humphries, or Peake could be survived.
And we've got Hopper that is still young and could play. So, I'm not second guessing the coaches, but I don't see that we get thin at WR pretty quickly either.

Wouldn't be shocked if we lost Bryant

If he has the year I'm hoping for, it may make a lot of sense to go pro with Sammy.

Only so many receivers will go in higher rounds.....

...and there is plenty of company with projections of receivers either for sure or likely going to draft. Going in a late round probably isn't what Bryant is looking for. But it's possible he would go if it looks thinner than expected for receivers. Who knows.

He's measurables alone will help him in this regard at the combine, assuming he gets invited. Remember he's got two kids so getting to the league and being able to take care of his family is probably on his mind a lot.
