Some of the guys on the 82 golf team lived on Johnstone F5 Annex. We had some good times living there.

My father, J.V.Walters, was a sophomore in the fall of 1930. I bet he knew some of the golfers since Clemson was a close knit group of students in the 1930s. Go Tigers!

That tells you a lot about how many clubs were available to play a round. And man, knickers and tie. Is that bad ### or what? Very cool photo as usual Mintaka.

The Golf Bags back then remind me of the size bag you would carry in today' s Golfing world with about 3 or 4 clubs in it if you were gonna play a very short yardage Par 3 only course and yea those knickers were some kind of stylish? There has only been one Golfer in our time that could pull off wearing those and that would be the great Payne Stewart himself.

My father was at Clemson 1935 through 1937. He was on the golf team at least one of those years. I have never seen a picture from his team. If anyone has a picture of the golf team from those years I would love to see it to see if he is in it. Thanks
