But, to avenge the loss to Alabama with a blowout win tonight I think they are in the discussion.
Dawgs beat every team they played.
The 2019 LSU team was special, but this Georgia team perhaps had the best defense in college football history. Slight edge to UGA, in my opinion.
Makes for a good debate.
Looking forward to 2022!

I hope whoever did this gets caught and sent to prison for the rest of their life. One for leaving the seen and possibly being DUI. You don’t run over anyone without stopping especially a child. 7 years old. Where were her parents. A child with autism needs to be kept constantly in a safe environment. IMO the House should have been locked. Not blaming parents or the driver for the accident until more facts are available. The child could have stepped in front the vehicle that hit her. It could have just been an unavoidable accident. But with the driver leaving the scene with a Bama bumper plate sure adds suspicion that the driver was DUI. Very sad post.
Where l get angry is the driver did not stop. It is possible he / she had been under the influence of alcohol. One good reason to run. But hit and run just adds to the felony charges and more prison time. Very sad for the little girls family. Will be praying for them. It puts the NC game into perspective. When it’s all said and done it’s just a game.

over the most dominant team in SEC history is easily better than whatever Georgia did this year. This year's Georgia team wouldn’t score 10 points against the power rangers and our shutdown corners from 2018. In fact with the transfer portal gutting the depth chart of elite programs I would say this year’s Georgia team may be the worst team to win a national championship game I’ve seen in recent memory.

Our 2019 squad gets over looked a ton, but we played horrible in that game, bad strategy, abandoned a working running game and still led by double digits and had a chance to really put them away and go up by 20, but bad play calling and Trevor being just a hair off… another woulda, coulda… didn’t. Still I think we were more talented and better if we played well, not even great, should say a lot out that team since LSU is considered hands down the best of all time by many.

Clemson‘s offense was terrible this year. If we had Kelly Bryant we win the Georgia game despite all our problems. Even with DJ had we simply kicked a FG after the two turnovers we would have won 6-3 or 9-3.

I like to be cautious about proclaiming a team to be the "greatest ever," because I've heard that epithet repeatedly over the years. It's a phrase usually blurted by media junkalists trying to fill air time.
Nevertheless, I don't mind giving credit when it's due: UGA had a heck of a season, went into the semi determined to send Michigan packing and brought the same mindset into the title game. They certainly didn't allow the SEC title loss to Bama affect them negatively. Good for them! Might add it was sobering to watch your QB after the game, as you could tell the victory was a particularly tremendous accomplishment for him!

IMO the only 2 teams in the conversation for best for best ever:
1. 1995 Nebraska
2. 2018 Clemson (44-16 against the team that the whole college football world was trying to declare the best ever coming into the game and the first team to go 15-0).
2019 LSU was really good but defensively we were a shell of the previous year after losing 5 DL to the NFL. We were so thin we had to switch to a 3 man front.
Regardless though, congrats on a great season. I know somewhere Lewis Grizzard is smiling.

I would put the 2018 Clemson Natty team over last night’s version of the Dawgs. It took Georgia until the fourth quarter to put away a Bama team missing it top two playmakers. That Clemson defensive front four would have made Bennett have a very long night. On the flip side, Lawrence would have carved up the Dawg secondary just like he did Bama.

This is absolutely laughable. Of the last 10 seasons 2021 had the least elite play across college football. Neither GA nor Alabama looked like the dominant teams we have seen the last ten years. I’d rank the Nc of the last 10 season as follows
1. LSU 2019
2. Clemson 2018
3. Bama 2020
4. Clemson 2016
5. Bama 2015
6. Bama 2017 and the 2017 GA team would have won the Natty this year
7. UGA 2021
8. OSU 2014
9. FSU 2013
10. Bama 2012

Not even close. Game was not a "blowout" but tight to the last minute. The D clearly led the way and was one of all time greatest, no doubt. Problem for your "debate" (of which you are the only one employing this anyway), offense was marginal but serviceable to the end. So no, not even close to greatest team..

Also, the best classic songs use Georgia in the lyrics (Georgia on my Mind, Devil Went down..., Midnight Train, and so forth).

can EVER be considered in that conversation. The win was not a blowout. Bama blew UGA out. UGA is 1-1 against Bama this year and would be 5-5 at best if you played 10 times. Probably worse b/c historically Saban owns Kirby.
UGA's defense is maybe one of the best ever. Except for the SECCG. Otherwise, not even in the discussion.

But, to avenge the loss to Alabama with a blowout win tonight I think they are in the discussion.
Dawgs beat every team they played.
The 2019 LSU team was special, but this Georgia team perhaps had the best defense in college football history. Slight edge to UGA, in my opinion.
Makes for a good debate.

Looking at your schedule the only quality wins are Clemson 10-3 and Alabama 33-18 which I would call a blow out. But you could call you lose to Bama over dawgs more of a Blow Out 41-24. And believe me I do not like giving Saban any positive props.
Georgia don’t get to cocky the chickens may bring you down next year. And your high powered offense scored 3 points against Clemson’s defense. Your defense scored 7 points. Then I look at your schedule which was pretty weak this year
I would accept my NC win and not brag to much. Above average defense based on what I saw all season. Clemson may have beat you Monday night !
