Tigers miss on athletic 4-star guard

by -

Jalen Gaffney, a 6-foot-2 combo guard from West Chester, Pennsylvania, chose UConn over Xavier, Clemson and St. John's on Tuesday. Gaffney had scheduled an official visit with Clemson on October 12 but decided to end his recruitment after visiting UConn this past weekend. His AAU coach, former Rutgers head coach Mike Rice, told the Register Citizen newspaper Gaffney has "Russell Westbrook-like athleticism".
