Shaq Lawson honors C.J. Fuller, receives game ball from Bills

by - Assoc. Editor -

It has been an extremely emotional week for Buffalo Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson dealing with the passing of one of his best friends, C.J. Fuller.

Lawson honored Fuller by wearing gloves and shoes with his former teammate's name inscribed on them for the game against the Tennesee Titans.

During the exciting 13-12 win for the Bills, Lawson had a tackle and a crucial forced fumble as he stripped the ball from running back Dion Lewis.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott understood the difficult week that Lawson had endured and gave him one of three game balls after the win.

"You guys have a teammate that went through a tough week," McDermott said in the locker room. "Flew down a day or two ago to express his condolences to his good friend and their family. He made it back on time to play the game with you guys."
