From Jamie Newberg of ESPN:
Barber, 6-foot-0 and 215 pounds, missed most of last season with a torn ligament in his ankle. He took an unofficial visit to Clemson for the Clemson-Auburn game on 9/17/2011. Barber took an unofficial visit to Clemson for the Elite Junior Day in Jan. 2012.
“Clemson was the first school to offer me. That was back over the summer after I went to a camp there,” Barber said. “Both Alabama and Auburn came a couple of weeks ago. I was pretty surprised at those. Vandy came yesterday. I know they are a pretty good team on the rise. I want to check them out. I am going up there on March 4th for their junior day.”
