Clemson has offered 3-star 2019 offensive tackle
Andrew Kristofic from Gibsonia, PA (Pine Richland) on Thursday according to his Twitter account.
"Thankful and excited to receive an offer from Clemson," Kristofic posted.
TigerNet spoke with Kristofic for a few moments on Thursday afternoon and he said that the offer from Clemson is "huge and really pumped up about it."
Offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell spoke with him on the phone and told him about the offer from the Tigers.
The 6-foot-6 lineman has early national offers from Akron, Boston College, Buffalo, Clemson, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Temple, Toledo, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin. His first offer was from Pittsburgh and his father played college football for the Panthers.
Back in his early days of playing football, Kristofic played quarterback but outgrew the position. He has good athleticism and quick feet as he is also a standout basketball player at his high school.
He was recently named to the 2017 Class 6A Western PA team, 2017 PISAA Class 6A All-State, and 2017 All-USA Pennsylvania team.
