Clemson has offered 2016 wide receiver
Diondre Overton
Diondre Overton TigerNet spoke with Overton soon after his offer and he was pretty excited about it. "It's an honor to be offered by Clemson," Overton said. "I think that Clemson offense is pretty impressive and the wide receiver position is big there." In 2014, he had 70 catches for 1200 yards and 11 touchdowns. Overton has early offers from Clemson, East Carolina, North Carolina State and Old Dominion. However, he is also being recruited by several schools on the basketball court. Virginia Tech is the first school to offer him a basketball scholarship so far. He would like to play both sports in college if possible.
