Clemson LB/DE commit Logan Rudolph tore his labrum in the first quarter against Dorman and will miss the rest of his senior season as he will have surgery according to multiple reports.
Rudolph will enroll at Clemson in January and was offered as a linebacker by the Tigers. As a tight end, Rudolph caught 50 passes for 502 yards and three scores last season. Defensively, he accounted for 60 total tackles, 14.5 sacks, an interception and four forced fumbles. The 6-4, 230-pounder held national offers from Alabama, App State, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Charlotte, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, SMU, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UAB, USC, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia. Rudolph is the younger brother of Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph and his former Northwestern head football coach Kyle Richardson is now a coach at Clemson.
