From WYFF.com:

A man who was tailgating before the Carolina-Clemson game Saturday night was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being stabbed during an altercation near the stadium, according to deputies.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community's assistance in identifying the people who attacked and stabbed the man.

Deputies were called to a tailgating spot at Bluff Rd. and Hemlock Dr. around 6:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed in the upper body.

Lott said that the victim got into a verbal altercation with another man about moving barricades at the tailgating spot.

The victim and the other man got into a physical altercation when another person joined in and struck the victim in the face using his fist, investigators said.

The victim was then stabbed in the upper body.

He was transported to Palmetto Richland Hospital in critical condition.
