FSU selling $200 tickets to Clemson game

by - Assoc. Editor -

Florida Sate is selling $200 single-game tickets to the Clemson (Oct. 29) and rival Florida (Nov. 26) games at Doak Campbell Stadium this season.

The tickets are only available to Florida State boosters, and if they are not boosters, they have to join Seminole Boosters, Inc. and pay the membership fee along with the premium ticket price.

“We felt the need to protect season ticket holders by requiring the booster donation,” Jack Chatham, FSU's Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Operations said Tuesday via the Tallahassee Democrat.

“That justified the cost of the ticket as well as the location. From the quality of the inventory remaining in those areas and from a revenue standpoint for us, we felt it was a win-win. We have been pleased by with the response.”

The Seminoles have sold 1,100 of these premium tickets and 36,000 season tickets so far for the upcoming season.
