played 11 minutes in Wednesday's 101-90 loss to the Boston Celtics. McDaniels played well in the limited action going 3-3 with eight points, two rebounds and a block.

McDaniels appears to be frustrated with the lack of playing time and his team's NBA worst 0-11 record.

"It is frustrating," McDaniels told csnphilly.com. "But the minutes I do get, I have to go out and play as hard as I can. I can't determine the playing time, I just have to stay humble about it and keep grinding."

His coach Brett Brown understands the rookie's frustrations but knows that McDaniels is far from a finished product in the NBA.

"It is important we don't forget what [McDaniels] can do," Brown said. "He can stand still, catch and shoot it, and he can play defense, particularly weak side defense where he is a great shot blocker for his size. But growing him is going to require more skill-related things about passing and dribbling especially."

For the season, McDaniels is 8.5 points (46.7% shooting), 2.6 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 0.9 assists per game.
