Clemson Baseball Recruiting Class Ranked #4 By Baseball America

Clemson, SC - Clemson's baseball recruiting class was ranked #4 in the nation by Baseball America, released on Thursday. Baylor was ranked #1, followed by South Carolina, Southern California, Clemson, and Miami (FL). Head Coach Jack Leggett and Recruiting Coordinator Kevin O'Sullivan brought in 13 signees, including 11 high school players and two junior college transfers. All 13 members of the class have already begun fall practice and are eligible to compete in the 2007 season.

Tiger Baseball to Play Three Orange & Purple Games From October 19-22

Clemson to conclude fall practice with three scrimmages starting Thursday.

Clemson, SC - Clemson will play three Orange & Purple baseball scrimmages at Doug Kingsmore Stadium starting Thursday. Admission is free to all three games. On Thursday, October 19, the first of three scrimmages will be held at 3:30 PM. The second scrimmage will take place on Friday, October 20 at 6:00 PM. The final scrimmage will be on Sunday, October 22 at 1:30 PM. The intrasquad scrimmages will conclude fall practice. The Tigers, who advanced to the College World Series in 2006, will open the 2007 season on February 16 at home against George Mason.
