CLEMSON – The home-and-home basketball series between the Arizona Wildcats and Clemson Tigers is official, with the Tigers traveling to the McKale Center this upcoming season and the Wildcats playing in Clemson during the 2012-2013 season.

Clemson associate sports information director Philip Sikes confirmed the series Friday afternoon, and said head basketball coach Brad Brownell was out of town and unavailable for comment.

Arizona advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament this past March, eventually losing to Connecticut 65-63. They finished with a 30-9 record, including a 93-77 over Duke in the Sweet Sixteen. They finished with a No. 9 national ranking according the Associated Press, capping a season in which they also won the PAC-10 regular season title with a 14-4 conference record.

The rest of the non-conference schedule for next season will be released in August.
