According to ESPN's Jamie Newberg, former Clemson commitment RB Marlin Lane has committed to Tennessee.

"RB Marlin Lane has committed to Derek Dooley & Tennessee," said Newberg via Twitter. "He will not visit fsu this weekend and is officially done."

UPDATE: Several outlets have reached Lane and he said he was not committed to Tennessee and will announce on signing day. After his initial report on the commitment, Newberg said via Twitter, "He hasn't committed publicly yet... he will sign w TN."

UPDATE 2: Lane has gone public with the commitment now. Lane to Tennessee Rivals site: "My goal is to get playing time as freshman and help TN win. I'm coming in to compete and I'm not going to let anyone outwork me."
