Swinney comments on signing class

by -

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney told ESPNU this morning that he expects to have an outstanding defensive line class this year.

"We are going to have an outstanding defensive line class before it’s all over with, to go with the guys that are already on campus," Swinney said.

He also said that this year's National Signing Day shouldn't be any different for Clemson fans, at least from an excitement standpoint.

"It is not going to be any different in that it is going to be a great day for the Clemson Tigers, that is for sure," Swinney said. "We are going to sign an outstanding class for the third year in a row. A class, that in our opinion, is as good as any we have signed. We are excited. The difference is, there are a few guys that have gone down to the wire and hopefully it will go the Clemson’s Tigers’ way. This year we felt like we needed to hit on some secondary guys, and hopefully by the end of the day we will address that."
