RJ Mickens helped lead his high school's run to the Texas state 7-on-7 championship game with some clutch catches on Saturdaay.

He's currently ranked as high as the No. 3 safety in the nation after tallying 192 tackles, 29 pass breakups and seven interceptions over three high school seasons. He picked up district MVP honors last season. Mickens is the son of longtime NFL cornerback Ray Mickens, who played with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots.
