Hivera Green - Defensive Line
Height: 6-5   Weight: 270   Hometown: Conway, SC (Conway HS)   Class: 2005
ESPN: NR

Conway standout Hivera Green is clearly the number defensive lineman in South Carolina this season. Green was one of the more physically imposing players that we saw this morning at the Shriner's Hospital.

"I am at about 6-5, 270 pounds right now. I worked really hard in the weight room this year to put on weight."

Green received a visit from Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel this week at the school.

"He came by the school and wanted some film on me. They are going to evaluate my film and then get back to me. I went up there for the Michigan-Ohio State game. It was incredible."

While an Oklahoma offer could be looming, Green said two schoools still standout for him right now.

"Clemson and Virginia Tech are my leaders. Coach Swinney is recruiting me for Clemson. I have a very good relationship with Coach Swinney and Coach West. I will visit South Carolina January 7, Clemson officially on January 14, and Virginia Tech January 21."

Hivera was one of several prospects we had a chance to meet with today at the hospital. Continue to check Tiger Source as we will have extensive Shrine Bowl coverage this week.
