“Today is not just about me,” said Richard, who caught a touchdown pass in the Cavaliers win over rival Savannah Christian last Friday. “There are a lot of people who helped me get here. First I’d like to thank God, and I want to thank the Marines. I’ve got two great parents. And I want to thank my teammates ... I also want to thank coach Griffin (athletic director Chad Griffin). During my recruiting he helped me so much. The little things he said to me always made my days a lot better.”
