held his postgame teleconference with the media Monday morning instead of Sunday afternoon. I will add notes as we go, so please hit refresh as I continue to add notes.

*"Definitely our best game in quite a while, a complete team effort. Good to see them get better this week. Great job with turnover margins. A lot of good things in that game."

*"I thought we had some young guys go in there and play with the intensity we want. First groups did a good job, but young guys that came in did a good job, especially Jay Guillermo. Just a good solid performance. Good to get Ammon Lakip in there and get him some work. I think our schedule sets up good. We have a chance to get some guys healthy and rejuvenated this week and get ready for Georgia Tech."

*Tigers will practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and do community service as a team Friday. Saturday will be like a Monday and will start the regular game week.

*Injuries - C.J. Davidson has MCL injury, but they will put a brace on it and he will able to go. Ronnie Geohaghan is also being treated for MCL, and both are feeling better today.

*Georgia Tech - "They do what they do. I saw them a good bit last week getting ready for Virginia. Not a whole lot different. Some things different defensively with Ted Roof, but they are playing solid football. Always a tough task to beat these guys."

*"You want to feel good about where you are and the progress you are making. We struggled in the red zone against Maryland, and we had five touchdowns this week. We know we will have our hands full with Georgia Tech, and it will be all about those four quarters right there."

*On Jayron Kearse - "He really sparked us, and he is getting comfortable. There is no question his athleticism and confidence are shining through. He is really engaged. In fact, that is the best our safeties have played all year. Robert Smith played really well, Travis (Blanks) played well. Jadar Johnson went in there and graded at 90 percent and got about 27 plays. But Jayron is emerging and you will continue to see him have more and more opportunities."

*Garry Peters will be back at practice this week and the coaches think he will be ready for the Georgia Tech game.

*Says coaches haven't had a chance to see Mackensie Alexander like they want to see him, not like players saw Alexander this summer.

*The Friday community service project - the team will go build a habitat house in Anderson. Dabo says they will give the team a few hours of good hard labor.
