is the real deal. Sure, the official records say Fox Creek was 0-10 last year after the Predators were stripped of all their victories after playing an ineligible athlete, but everybody knows the true story.
Under Williams' guidance, FCHS finished 8-4 the most wins in school history - in fact, the only winning season in school history. He also took the Predators to the playoffs for the first time, and the success didn't stop there as they won their first game, beating Calhoun Falls in the opening round of the Class A playoffs before falling to Christ Church.
No, Williams didn't do it alone, but he certainly played a huge role. He rushed for more than 1,900 yards, throwing for more than 500 more and accounting for 28 touchdowns, on his way to being named the 2010 Aiken Standard Offensive Player of the Year.
For most of last year, Williams was a hidden gem. But it's not that way any longer. Williams has drawn the attention of the collegiate scouts and already has offers from Clemson, Arkansas, East Carolina, N.C. State and others. He's also getting interest from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida and Notre Dame, and others are sure to follow.
