Cameron Sexton is drawing closer to a decision about his next four years. Sexton remains open between Clemson, NC State, Florida State, and North Carolina.

"No one has pulled ahead as a leader. I will have my decision made by the end of this month or early December."

It is difficult to make a projection on where Sexton will land, but here is how we break it down for Sexton. He has stated that he will play quarterback at the next level, and FSU is red-shirting two highly touted quarterbacks this season. The depth FSU has would make it difficult for him to crack the depth chart at quarterback for the Seminoles.

Darian Durant finishes up his stellar career at North Carolina this year, so there is an opening. However, Sexton has stated that he definitely wants to red-shirt his freshman season. UNC does not present a situation where we forecast redshirt possibility for Sexton.

That leaves Clemson and NC State. Both schools will have a experienced quarterback returning that Sexton could learn behind. Jay Davis and Charlie Whitehurst could be what give the Tigers and Wolfpack a leg up right now.
