From AJC:
It meant so much that Kamara immediately declared Clemson as his leader, with Ole Miss and Mississippi State as his other offers. Arkansas may be next to offer. “I like Coach Swinney; he’s a real good guy,” Kamara said. “I like the atmosphere and football tradition at Clemson. I could see myself playing there.”
“Coach Swinney knows about the whole thing about Robert and I wanting to go to college together and he was like, ‘I want to make this clear: We were recruiting you before that was out there … even if Robert doesn’t come here, you still have an offer to Clemson University,” Kamara told the AJC. “That really meant a lot.”
