He chose Notre Dame over Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, among others. Clemson did not offer.

He has attended spring games at Clemson and Georgia. As a junior, he had caught 50 passes for 1098 yards and 16 touchdowns. #34 rated player and 4 star recruit based on the 2012 AthleteVault NC/SC Rankings.

He has elite track speed on the football field.
