View Full Profile (Hampton, Ga./Lovejoy) is one of the South’s top tight end prospects and at 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, he kid brings a ton of versatility to the table according to head coach Al Hughes.

“He causes a nightmare for defenses trying to match up with him,” Hughes said. “He has the ability to be a tight end. Then you can put him in the slot and match up with a linebacker or at wide receiver and match him up with a defensive back. He gives us so much. Arshad has all the tools. I just have to figure out how to use him better.”

According to Jackson he has scholarship offers from Virginia (first), Clemson, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Louisville, Arkansas, Purdue, Michigan State, and Georgia Tech while teams like Georgia, Auburn and South Carolina are all recruiting hard but have yet to offer.

“Right now I am just going through the process,” said Jackson who scored seven touchdowns last season. “I don’t have a favorite team. Last weekend I went to the Clemson junior day and had a blast. I love their facilities, academics and coaching staff. They are like a big family. You know they use a tight end. Look at what Dwayne Allen did for them. I can do the same thing. This weekend I am going to Georgia Tech. I am going to Georgia (March 24) and I would like to check out South Carolina.”
