Junior Hemingway - Athlete
Height: 6-2   Weight: 200   Hometown: Conway, SC (Conway HS)   Class: 2007
ESPN: NR

Two years ago, Conway showcased Eric Huggins, as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the country. Huggins was a disappointment at the Shrine Bowl, but he signed with Oklahoma. In the class of 2007, Conway will again showcase one of the nation's most sought after wide receivers.

Junior Hemingway will be one of the top players in South Carolina regardless of position for 2007. He is tentatively rated as the number three prospect in South Carolina behind Willy Korn and Mark Barnes.

Clemson is still working to re-establish its depth chart at wide receiver. The 2005 and 2006 classes have put the Tigers on track, but Clemson could finish rebuilding the wide receiver corps with a strong class in 2007.

Clemson started off strong with a verbal commitment from Greenwood's Xavier Dye, and Hemingway says he has taken notice to Clemson's strong start.

"Clemson is doing a good job of recruiting. I know they are adding to their stadium, and it is supposed to be really nice. I know they have Willy Korn committed. He is a very good quarterback, and I want to play with a quarterback, who can get me the ball."

Hemingway could play on either side of the ball in college, but he prefers to play wide receiver.

"I do not mind playing both ways. I feel I am better suited to play wide receiver."

Maryland, Michigan, Clemson, and South Carolina have already offered Hemingway. Hemingway will continue to see more offers pour in as the spring approaches. The Conway coaches do an excellent job of getting exposure for their players. We will continue to track Hemingway.
