Clemson has offered electric 2017 all-purpose running back Darrian Felix from Fort Myers, Florida and he released a top five on Twitter on Monday with Clemson, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, and Tennessee.
TigerNet spoke with Felix on Monday night, and he said he was excited about the recent Clemson offer. "Very blessed to receive an offer from Clemson," Felix said. "It's very special. Coach Elliot came to my school and offered me [recently]." Felix has national offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, Clemson, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Rutgers, South Dakota, Southern Mississippi, South Florida, Tennessee, UCF, West Virginia, and others. He plans to visit Clemson on Jan. 13 and Washington on Jan. 20 while announcing his final decision on National Signing Day. His main thing he is looking for in a school is the relationships that he builds with the coaches and players. He has already taken visits to North Carolina, Oregon, and Tennessee. This will not be Felix's first visit to TigerTown as he has already visited Clemson during the 2015 Clemson-FSU game, 2015 Orange and White game, and was in attendance at the 2015 Dabo Swinney Football camp. In 2016, he had 190 carries for 1477 yards and 23 touchdowns. He has an impressive NIKE SPARQ rating of 1349.38 at a recent event with an official 4.48 40-yard dash and crazy 44-inch vertical jump. I want to say thank you to all the schools that offered me a scholarship, but with that being said here's my top 5??Edit:@Hayesfawcett3 pic.twitter.com/P2vZxDY1TU
