4-star 2018 defensive back Derrik Allen released his top 10 schools on Sunday evening and Clemson made the cut according to his Twitter account.
"Thanks to all the schools that offered...these are Top 10 schools that my family and I will focus on evaluating going forward," Allen tweeted. The Top 10 schools were Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State, California, Notre Dame, Penn State, North Carolina State, and North Carolina. Allen has early national offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, California, Clemson, Colorado State, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and West Virginia. Clemson offered on 6/9/15 while Allen attended the Dabo Swinney Football Camp. He is a good student and plans to major in Computer Science in college.
