D.J. Reader is an elite offensive guard at Grimsley High in Greensboro, North Carolina.
According to the Fayetteville Observer: "Believe it or not, the 6-3, 330-pound Reader is also a standout baseball player. A pitcher with a 90 mph fastball, he is also expected to be recruited for that sport, or could get drafted by the professional ranks when his senior year is finished. But schools such as Clemson, Duke, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State, Virginia and Wake Forest are hoping he sticks with football." Clemson has already offered Reader for next year's recruiting class.
