I am from the Greensboro area and I remember hearing D.J.'s name everytime they talked about Grimesley High when the high school playoffs were goin on. This kid is good needs to be polished up a little bit but our new coaching staff should be able to do that if he commits.

Ps The last team inthe video was the state champs this year.

I got into most of the NC schools, including UNC, App St, and NC State. But, Grimsley had a teacher named Coach Franks, that was a coach on the high school fball team. He was also the sociology and sports medicine teacher. He was one of the trainers on the 81 football team at Clemson. His love of Clemson (and the orange classroom he had), made me want to visit Clemson. I ended up going to school at Clemson. It only took one visit for me. If he is still teaching at Grimsley, I can't imagine this kid not coming anywhere but Clemson. Not that he would purposelly persuade the kid, but he would talk about the true passion he had for the university, and I guarantee this kid would fall in love with the school the way I did.

Dual sport players in football-baseball worry me

after last year's issues. Perhaps as long as he is not under contract from a pro team while playing football... but its not as attractive an idea as I once thought it to be.
