Clemson is the new school in the picture with Whitehead, and the Tigers may be doing the best job recruiting him.

“I’ve been talking with [Clemson assistant Marion Hobby] and everything, and we’ve started to establish a great relationship,” Whitehead said. “I want to go down there and see how the atmosphere is for a game. I was supposed to go to Clemson for the FSU game but I had some family come into town. I watched it on TV, and I saw where the crowd ran on the field after the game. That was pretty cool. I’d love to play somewhere where the fans get that excited about football.”
