Israel Troupe - Wide Receiver
Height: 6-1   Weight: 215   Hometown: Tifton, GA (Tift County HS)   Class: 2007
ESPN: NR

Clemson has one verbal commitment in hand at wide receiver from Xavier Dye. The Tigers would like to add at least one more wide receiver in the 2007 class. There are two wide receivers by our estimation that Tigers would not turn down Greg Little and Israel Troupe.

Troupe is being recruited heavily by Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Florida, and Auburn.

"All the schools that have offered me are in the mix. I do not plan on making a early decision. I have plenty of time to sit back and look at my options. I want to go to some games during the season and see what the gameday atmospheres are like at each school."

What will Troupe be looking for during the season?

"I want to see how the offenses get the wide receivers in the mix. I want to play in an offense that gives playmakers a chance to make plays."

Troupe is one of Clemson top targets at wide receiver, and the Tigers figure to be in his top five right to the end.
