Deion Bonner is a big-time DB from Carver High in Columbus, Georgia. Bonner is one of the top players in the state. He is the next in line of great prospects that get Division I offers from that program.
Corey Crawford and David Beasley are two former Carver players that have decided to play for Clemson. Most people believe Georgia will end up with Bonner's services but Clemson is right in the mix. Clemson has already offered Bonner for next year's recruiting class. According to B/R: "Bonner plays both safety and running back in high school, but scouts are pegging him as a defender on the next level based on his ball-hawking instincts and ability to deliver the big hit. He's a bit undersized, at 5'11" and 169 lbs, but plays bigger than he looks. Once Bonner bulks up, this Georgia native could be something special."
