Thomas Austin has received several phone calls since the dead period ended last Wednesday. The Camden native has not swayed from his commitment to Clemson.
"I received calls from Maryland, South Carolina, Kentucky, Wake Forest, and a handful of others, but I have informed them all that I am firm to Clemson. I will not take any official visits other than Clemson."
Austin like most people that were at the game was very impressed with the atmosphere on Saturday.
"The crowd was going crazy. When they at the top of the Hill, everyone was going wild. I could definitely see myself doing that next year. During the game, I thought they played well. Made some mistakes, but I definitely think they can correct them and beat Georgia Tech."
Rendrick Taylor, Barry Humphries, and Josh Miller all joined Austin at the game.
"I enjoyed meeting Rendrick, Barry, and Josh. They are all very excited about coming to Clemson next season. I wanted to meet with Jonathan Hannah, but wasn't able to. I will try and make the Georgia Tech game, but being a night game it will be tough."
