Former Alabama RB Alvin Kamara is taking an unofficial visit to Clemson today.
Alabama had granted a release a few weeks back that Kamara can transfer to a school (outside of the SEC) so that he can continue his football career.
Kamara was one of four high profile RB commits that Alabama signed last year. He did not play as a freshman and was redshirted.
He was suspended for the Sugar Bowl for missing a team function but had already decided to transfer from Alabama.
The departure left Alabama with 7 returning running backs for next year.
