Watkins top 50 in NFL merchandise sales

According to a list compiled by CNN Money, former Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins is the highest former Clemson player and in the top 50 of all NFL players in merchandise sales.

Watkins came in at number 47 with sales of between $1.5 to $2 million for the dates March 2015 through February 2016.

New England’s Tom Brady, Denver’s Peyton Manning, and Seattle’s Russell Wilson top the list in the $15 to $20 million category.

Watkins was drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the fourth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
