CBSSports.com has released its latest 2016 NFL Big Board, and three Clemson defenders made the list with defensive end Shaq Lawson, safety Jayron Kearse and defensive back Mackensie Alexander.

Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson was projected as the #20 overall prospect for the 2016 NFL Draft class.

"Lawson's compact frame and power make him equally effective against the run and the pass, where he shows surprising initial quickness and agility as well as a terrific motor," CBSSports.com said.

Lawson has 45 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, ten quarterback pressures and 6.5 sacks this season and recently selected as a Lombardi Award finalist and a Chuck Bednarik Award semifinalist.

Clemson safety Jayron Kearse is ranked as the #27 overall prospect for the 2016 NFL Draft class.

"The nephew of former Tennessee Titans star Jevon Kearse, this Tiger has shown freakish speed to go along with a knack for turnovers and explosive hitting ability throughout his collegiate career," CBSSports.com stated.

Kearse has 43 tackles, five tackles for loss, five pass breakups and an interception on the season.

Mackensie Alexander was rated as the #30 NFL prospect as a redshirt sophomore.

"I rarely include redshirt sophomores on this list but the NFL's constant need for cornerbacks and Alexander's talent warrant it," CBSSports.com Rob Rang said. "Sporting an athletic, compact frame more like a running back than most corners, Alexander already passes the eye test. He doesn't have the preferred height but offers excellent man-to-man cover skills."

Alexander was recently named as a Thorpe Award Semifinalist, and Clemson is rated first in the nation in completion defense (.460).

He has 17 tackles, two tackles for loss and four pass breakups on the season.
